His specializations include project finance, energy and oil and gas, infrastructure, business formation and registration, social security, telecommunications, intellectual property, employment, and land law.
With a notable career acting for the Government of Tanzania and international investors in major energy projects, Protase played a key role in drafting the new Companies Act and advising the Ministry of Lands, Human Settlement, and Development on the review of the Land Acquisition Act, leading to the creation of the new Land Acquisition and Compensation Bill.
As the former head of the Project Finance, Infrastructure, Energy, and Oil & Gas practice, Protase provided unparalleled insights and skills, particularly in the sectors of infrastructure development, energy projects, and oil and gas ventures.
